Tessa Sudoku is coming soon to Google Play. This policy describes how the game handles your data from launch.
Who we are

The short version
- You can play without an account. We never ask for your name.
- Your progress is saved on your phone. When you are online, a backup copy is stored on our server (Google Firebase).
- We use Google services for ads, usage statistics and crash reports. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first.
- You can delete your account and data at any time, in the game or on this website.

We don’t collect your contacts, photos, precise location or microphone. We don’t sell your data.
Ads and your consent
In the EU, the UK and Switzerland, Google’s consent form appears before the first ad and before usage statistics are collected. You can change your choice at any time in Tessa: Settings › Privacy options.
Tessa shows a full-screen ad after every second solved puzzle and, if you choose, a short video for an extra hint. There are no banner ads.
Things that stay on your phone
- Daily reminder. If you turn it on, your phone schedules the notification itself. Nothing is sent to us.
- Android backup. Android may back up the game’s data to your own Google account (Auto Backup). We can’t see this copy. You manage it in your phone’s settings.
Who processes your data
We use Google as our service provider: Firebase (backup, sign-in, statistics, crash reports, app check), AdMob (ads) and Google Play. For personalized ads, Google acts as an independent controller. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Legal basis
- Backup, sign-in and feedback: to provide the game you asked for.
- Crash reports and app check: our legitimate interest in a game that works and is safe.
- Usage statistics and personalized ads in the EU, the UK and Switzerland: your consent.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, object to how we use it, or withdraw your consent at any time. Write to [email protected]. We reply within 30 days.
You can also complain to a data protection authority. In Serbia, that is the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs). In the EU, it is the authority in your country.
Deleting your data
The fastest way is in the game: Settings › Delete account. You can also do it without the app. See Delete your account.
Children
Tessa is meant for people aged 13 and over. We don’t knowingly collect data from younger children. If you think a child has used Tessa and you want their data deleted, write to us.
Changes
When this policy changes, we update the date at the top. If a change is important, we also tell you in the game.
